I began my professional life in ad agencies. Training in Johannesburg in a bilingual country, and also in New York City, gave me a strong foundation in design, corporate image maintenance and the business in general. A philosophy of truthful, factual advertising has helped me to keep a foot in this branch of the visual arts. My resume includes positions at Afamal-Quadrant and Forsythe Advertising in Johannesburg, Grey Advertising, New York City and at Arnold Advertising and Marvin & Leonard in Boston.

One of several regular ads designed for local swimming pool contractor offering comprehensive expertise and related contracting services.

LILY TRANSPORTATION
recently advertised the benefits of it's environmental concious philosophy in various trade magazines. Lily has been consistent in the maintenance of it's corporate image, even though their logo has been recently updated to emphasize their shift from a fleet leasing business to that of a systems provider.

NANCY STEINBOCK VINTAGE POSTERS advertises in niche publications aimed at a demographic which is most likely to purchase from her huge stock of wonderful vintage posters.
EURO-PLUS DESIGN
An ad prepared for a kitchen and bath designer and contractor with locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
JUNGBUNZLAUER A Swiss company with a US branch, manufactures food additives and ingredients. Their ads run mainly in trade publications. A distinctive name and corporate colors help their ads to stand out from the crowd.

BRICKMAN'S
Was an upscale store which specialized in bathroom, kitchen and fireplace housewares.

In a time of tight ad media budgets, a well-designed ad showing a wide range of its products ran in upscale Boston magazines.

The format was used frequently, with the photographs changing regularly required updating the ad from month to month.

Old County Builders A full-page ad prepared to run in a Cape Cod and Islands publication, for a custom home builder.
Zecco Marine An ad that appeared in a niche market publication for recreational powerboat enthusiasts.
